Best Places in Singapore Tier List
What are the places in Singapore that sucks the least? Singapore is agonising, the same boring flats and malls and stores everywhere. So for the past few months, I've been exploring Singapore, with a sincere desire to find the best areas in Singapore, for both my sanity and all the Singaporeans who are stuck here.
I searched through lists of what are considered the best areas in Singapore, asked AI what places they'd personally recommend to me, and went to most of those regions. Here is my list ranking them in tiers.
If an area is missing, either I haven't been there, or it's just another bland, boring Singapore neighborhood and it's automatically ranked bad to dogshit (Bishan, Jurong, Ang Mo Kio, Tampines, Serangoon, Sengkang, Bukit Batok. They all obviously suck). I specifically tried to go to and rank what are considered good places. If it's just another boring neighborhood, WHAT'S THE POINT
I value gorgeous design and quality, independent stores. The best places are beautiful and distinct, that you love to randomly wander around because there's something interesting around that might catch your attention.
Best places in Singapore:
Beautiful: Gardens By the Bay, Jurong Lake Gardens
Great: Katong, Chinatown
Pretty Good: Bras Basah, Tiong Bahru, Bugis, Little India
Meh: Holland Village, City Hall, Marina Bay, Botanic Gardens
Bad: Orchard, Clarke Quay, Sentosa
Bad to Dogshit: All the rest of the 100+ areas in Singapore
