Contact

There are 2 (Maybe 3) ways to contact me: Discord or Email

Discord

You can join my discord server by making a discord account and clicking this link:

https://discord.gg/ZEY78WEa5x (If the invite link ever stops working, please email amosyeeishere@gmail.com)

I regularly go there and chat. It has a community of people who follow my blog posts and videos. No detailed discussion of PDF files or anything that breaks Discord’s rules so no one gets banned. Spam and toxic people are removed to provide a safe space for everyone.

Many Chatrooms run by Opposition Activists in Singapore are just whining and incredibly mean-spirited, so this discord server might be one of the few platforms where people who oppose the PAP, can hang out and discuss Singapore Politics in a pleasant, friendly environment.

Email

I also regularly respond to emails, you can email me at amosyeeishere@gmail.com

You can make a comment, ask me a question, schedule interviews or podcasts with me, whatever.

How to Write an Effective Email

For casual followers you can just leave a short, nice, supportive comment and that’s fine. But if you want to increase chances that I’ll give you a detailed response, here’s how:

Mention how you know me, what specific thing I wrote or said that caught your attention (whether positive or negative), give a brief introduction of yourself (interests, work you do etc.), and then ask a question.

For example, a possible first email could be: ‘Hi, I’ve been following you since you made the Lee Kuan Yew video back in 2015. I don’t necessarily agree with everything you say, but my friends and I talk about you whenever news of you pops up, and it always leads to lively discussions. I’m a Singapore Student in Grass Hill College studying political science. I always wondered, do you mind going to prison all the time? It is all just by accident you keep breaking the rules, or is going to prison part of your political strategy? Or has it been a mix of both? I’m looking forward to your reply.’

You definitely shouldn’t just be like ‘Hi. I’m a big fan, I watch your videos a lot. Can I chat with you?’ Like bro

Basically if you want a detailed reply, you have to act like a human with their own thoughts and personality, and so you should talk like a human

If you see me Outside….

I wander around some place in Singapore every other day, just to get food or explore or whatever. If you’re in Singapore you might stumble upon me outdoors and of course you can ask for a selfie. However, if you want to strike a conversation, the same principles mentioned before for an effective email applies: say how you know me, share a bit about yourself, ask a question, repeat. Damn young uns on their phones all the time don’t know how to strike a conversation. Going to prison really helps with that (I’m not kidding).
