Alright, I’ve spent 3 to 5 hours a day, 5 days a week for the past month, researching, blogging, making videos, setting up interviews, managing socials, doing livestreams etc. It is undeniably a job, and I love it. And I’d love to make a good amount of money from it.
Really, the biggest reason why you should donate to me is so I can pay my volunteers. Right now I have a video editor and I’m trying to find another video editor, a research assistant, and a web designer, and soon I might want other roles: website administrators, social media managers, SEO consultant (I’m frankly not sure if I’m getting the name of these jobs right) graphics and T-Shirt Designer, whatever. A lot of them might volunteer and work for free for awhile, but paying them will obviously ensure they continue working because they don’t need to spend their time working another job to make money. Really, filling these jobs might accelerate my brand and influence by 1.5 or 2 or even 3 times? So that means Singaporeans can get free food and healthcare and topple the PAP Dictatorship 3 times faster? Wowzers!
And concerning me, all this time even when I’m not making any money from my content (Many times I’m not eligible for adsense or I’m banned from certain platforms, mostly of course because of my views on Pdf files, I have still been able to live and produce content. I’ve been fortunate to have a secret investor who has always provided for me (It’s probably easy to guess who it is). But obviously, I’m not financially independent. It might be best if I was, just as a little life insurance in case the secret investor suddenly vamooshes.
I’ve got a pretty Avant Garde family situation that I’ll share about another time. But basically I probably won’t ever have to pay rent. And also I believe money does increase your happiness and wellbeing, but only up till a certain point. After that more money just creates more problems and unhappiness. And I believe although you do want to be happy with less, you also ideally don’t just want enough money to survive, you also want a little more than that so you can enjoy life’s pleasures, like eating out or movie theatres or Nintendo Switch. So for me personally, if I have 1000 Singapore dollars a month I can survive, if I have 2 to 3 thousand dollars a month, I’m great. I would have enough money to buy all my entertainment gizmos, my insurance, give to charity, maybe invest a little bit… I literally do not need more than 3 thousand dollars a month. And just morally, I’m a socialist, I’m all about redistributing wealth to the poor. So any extra money I have, ok maybe I’ll save a little bit like 20%, but anything else I’d rather use it to pay my workers non-exploitative wages, or to give to charity (And concerning the charities I’d donate to: I’ve read the book ‘Doing Good Better’, researched a little bit about the most effective charities. So donating to most political campaigns and disaster relief are useless, but certain Malaria and Save World Hunger Foundations, I’m excited to help.)
Morally, I am opposed to spending more money the richer I get. So I’m never going to buy a single meal that costs more than $50. Never going to buy clothes that cost more than $100. Even if I’m a billionaire, I’ll still live like I just have 3 thousand dollars a month and won’t find ways to squander money on yachts or glass houses or whatever. With that mindset, I’ll have far more money to help the poor. I don’t view it as a loss, in fact, this brings me the most happiness.
Anyways, you can give a one-time donation whenever you want, maybe once you see a particular excellent video of mine and you’re like oh my, here’s a hundred. But less nerve-wracking for me is a consistent amount donated monthly. So $1 a month is great. $5 a month is 5 times better. $10 a month is 2 times better than $5 a month and 10 times better than $1 a month. Though really, honestly, it’s not necessarily about more money you give, your donation is more valuable if it is a higher percentage of your net worth. So a hundred dollars donated by someone who has ten thousand dollars (1%) is worth more than someone who donates one thousand dollars but who’s worth 10 million dollars (0.01%) (Which empirically doesn’t make sense, but spiritually it does).
Is this the worst motherfucking donation pitch you’ve ever read? What the fuck is this Donald Duck, Bruce Lee looking ass nigga going on about like some useless begger. This stupid begging accusation by the way, I’d point out that there are 10s of thousands of people globally who produce online content where asking from donations from their fans is their largest source of income, and that having many people contribute to your income is far more democratic and better because if your service is good or bad there will be a notable increase or decrease in funds, instead of just having 1 authoritarian figure pay you that you can’t always be accountable to because he has 100s of employees, and you might be inefficient or lazy or a dick to your co-workers or slacking off or you could just work for like 1 hour a day finish all your work then scroll Tiktok and Discord all day yet still get paid like you worked 10 hours a day and bring in 6 or 10 thousand dollars a month. Wow haha, I am such an ineffective fuck but I still get my paycheck, uhh well, are you proud of yourself that you are that much of a useless fuck? Do you not believe in God and that squandering your time and potential will lead you to the depths of damnation and hellfire? So it’s really strange, if people ask for money from 100s of people, then it’s begging, but when someone asks for money from 1 authoritarian boss, then it’s considered employment and a ‘real’ job. What the fuck? Are you stupid? Are you dumb? Did you put your dick in the wrong hole? How the hell did you not know which hole it is?
Anyways anyways now (that was quite a riveting tangent), if you’re rich, and considering donating $100 per month or more, and you want to know in greater detail where your money is going to, fantastic. Though bear in mind, I never sell-out. Most creative decisions on content and activism is decided by me and is never influenced by money or power. By virtue of being a superfan and donating a large amount I will likely listen to your concerns, and if it is a valid concern I will definitely make changes, but I’m of course not obligated to listen to you. From consuming my content, you should know that I have certain viewpoints that are non-negotiable. So if you’d like to donate a large amount but have certain demands: like I’ve got to stop defending pedophiles, or I’ve got to stop breaking the law and try to do my activism legally, don’t even bother. I will gladly sacrifice millions, billions of dollars, to maintain creative freedom and truth. If you think you can compromise that with some bling, with all due respect, you can go fuck yourself.
For the longest time, I’ve had the reputation of being unemployed, poor, begging for money. But with your donations, imagine if me and all my employees started making a 3 or 5 or 8 thousand dollars a month salary, or even started becoming millionaires. Oh how much it would trigger the Singapore Government and all the Amos Yee haters. Amos Yee from bashing the PAP makes 6 figures a year, 10 times your salary. Oh my gosh the tears. I can imagine Lee Hsien Loong hearing about this seething, furiously scrolling through my blog posts and tweets searching for some politically sellable slip up so he can exact vengeance with defamation suits. That’s how the Chinese exact revenge right? They don’t just punch you in the face, they wait for the opportunity and then strike, they wait until you get fired from your job and then they fuck your wife (What the fuck am I even talking about).
But really, really, it’s not just about pissing off jealous PAP dick-riding Singaporeans with miserable jobs, it’s really about funding a political movement. We will do our best to use the money you donated efficiently, and provide periodic breakdowns about what your money is being spent on. If you want to be part of the Singapore Revolution, part of helping all Singaporeans get free food, free healthcare, to remove national service, for Malays and Indians to have fairer education and work opportunities, for all Singaporeans to have happier schools, happier work environments, a happier life, donate.
