None of my blog posts, or videos, or anything I create, has copyright. Neither do I ever intend to copyright any of my work. So you can basically repost my content around the internet and even make money off of it, and it’ll be completely legal. In fact most of the time, I encourage it. I even put the stupid fucking creative commons license '© 2026 Amos Yee This work is licensed under CC BY 4.0' to ensure that I won't be able to sue you for reusing my content (This is the stupidest fucking thing, why I gotta place a license for me to not be able to sue people. And the license is completely free, I just copy and paste it from the internet this is the stupidest fucking shit!)
Copyright restricts people from reposting and sharing my content, or prevents people from using my words or image in any creative work. If I just cared about making the most money and getting views on my own platform, then sure I’d copyright my work and sue anyone who reposted my stuff. But I’m a socialist, I’m not a selfish capitalist. I value freedom and creativity, over money and greed.
Plenty of people have already taken clips of my videos or even reposted them entirely, and not only will I not accuse them of stealing, I’m incredibly grateful to them for sharing my content. Some have done really creative work with the clips, or have publicised my content even better than I have. Why would I discourage that? I’d gladly compete or work together with you to further my message.
I will say though, if anyone does make money from my content, it’d obviously be in good faith to give me a fair percentage of the profits. You probably don’t want to create any animosity with myself and my fans who might accuse you of stealing and selfishly profiting off of me. Though even if you do keep all the profits for yourself, I’m not gonna like take any legal action or sue you or anything. You’d just be y’know… kind of a dick.
So yea, repost my content on other social media platforms, put my blog posts into a book, sell T-shirts with my face on it, whatever. And do share your fan work of me to amosyeeishere@gmail.com I love seeing people use me to create great content
