Alright, I need 3 great people to volunteer. Your contribution could improve my credibility and influence by perhaps about 20-30%, so if under my leadership, the PAP dictatorship takes 15 years to topple, you could reduce the time it takes to 12 or even 10 years. Highly accurate and excellent maths I know, but seriously, incredibly crucial roles.

In your email, please tell me what job you’re volunteering for, and why you think you’re qualified for it. I do not give 2 fucks if you have a university degree, I want to know specifically what you’ve actually learnt and/or done (For example: Here are some videos I’ve edited before. Or: I’ve read tons of socialist philosophers and economists, I’ve written political blog posts, I’ve made mock budget plans for Singapore etc. Or: I’ve learnt enough coding to design websites from *name book or website. Or even better: here are some websites I made, link, boom)
No pay promised as of now, but in the future if I make money from my content and activism and become rich, I might give you some kind of equity or lifetime royalty for your work, just enough to make you feel happy and not ripped off.
Anyone in the world can volunteer. But if you’re in Singapore and want to volunteer, just by virtue of working with me, the Singapore Government would probably be spying on you and looking through your messages. But obviously if you consider doing this job, you’re probably in the position and mentality to not give a fuck
Video Editor
Need an editor for mostly mundane, boring edits. It doesn’t matter the software. Little to no creativity needed. It’s mostly audio editing, if I ever do an interview, help cut out the white spaces where I pause for too long. I’d need you to take out short clips from the 1.5h livestreams I do to post on Tiktok. I can give you the timestamps for where I want the clips to be taken from but hopefully eventually you can identify those yourself. No need to find images or do any visual effects or any creative stuff like that, just boring but essential edits.
I have a video editor already, but he prefers more creative work (finding images and footage to compliment my voiceover, music sequences and memes etc.), and to juggle that with editing interviews and clips from livestreams is overwhelming. Also, the editing software I had from 15 years ago has expired. So basically now, I don’t know how to edit videos. I could just learn a new video editing software and edit these clips myself, but from blogging to filming to doing interviews to managing all the socials, I’m more than occupied already. So with your help, we can increase content production by about 30%. 30% more Amos Yee? Wowzers
Research Assistant
I need somebody incredibly well versed in economics and politics. Basically I’m trying to organise Singapore into a society that redistributes wealth from the rich to the poor as much as possible, while still of course being functional.
So I need help with things like how and where we can cut costs from the budget. The exact tax rates we can increase for the wealthy that won’t scare too many away from investing. Is there a way to prosper even without their investment? If we say instituted a nationwide health wellness program, how much would that cost, and how much could that potentially decrease healthcare spending
So I’ll have a question, we’ll discuss, debate, do research when we have to, and slowly create a comprehensive, detailed and feasible plan for our Socialist Singaporean Utopia. We can eventually put all those plans down as blog posts and/or videos. If you can seamlessly cite sources for all the ideas we generate, even better. Very likely there’ll be numbers and questions I ask that you won’t have immediate answers too, in which case you should know how to find them.
I mentioned that the 6 political issues I want to prioritise in Singapore are: Freedom of Expression, Cheaper Cost of Living Through Taxing the Rich, Removing National Service, Less Painful Education, Less Painful Work, and Equal Rights for Malays and Indians . Not a complete necessity, but if you are well versed in all of them, that will be terrific
Web Designer
I mean look at my website’s design. Very endearingly minimalist, but probably not ideal in the long-term. So I need someone to make a nice, visually-appealing design for my website. Nothing too fancy, just something simple and modern like the website design for The Marginalian (Link it).
I’ll be the director to some extent, I’ll describe what kind of design and font I’d like. I’ve got certain ideas on how I want certain links and pages to be placed. Anything I have little to no idea about, do give suggestions.
Not a necessity, but if you have seo knowledge, like what tags and images I should use to maximise people’s chances that they’ll stumble upon my content, do tell.
‘Work’ Environment
Flexible work environment, you can obviously work on these projects at any time that suit you, just don’t miss scheduled meetings too much or take too long to finish something. It is an anti-authoritarian atmosphere, so feel free to share any ideas or opinions you think is important. If I say something stupid, feel free to criticise. If I act like an asshole, complain about it. If any of your points are valid, we will make changes. Your work and opinions are valued.
I will gradually need to ask for more volunteers to fill certain roles as my website and ‘brand’ gets bigger. Stay tuned. Are you the next chosen one?
